Do you accept credit cards?
No - although we hope to change that in the near future. At this point we can only accept Paypal payments, personal checks, or money orders. (Orders paid for via personal check will not be shipped till check has cleared.)
Will my fabric come cut in one continuous piece?
Yes - unless you specify otherwise when you place your order.
Can I purchase fat quarters from you?
We are happy to cut fat quarters! However, there isn't a purchase option for fat quarters on our website. Please email us with FQ requests - we will send you an invoice separately. (The price of each FQ will depend on the price of that particular fabric collection.)
How do I choose fabrics for custom-sewn items?
We suggest you browse through our fabric page in order to find something you like. Or, you can give us an idea of color or pattern and we'd be happy to help you choose. If you know exactly the pieces of fabric (or fabric collection) you'd like us to include in your item, enter them in the boxes provided on that product page before you submit your order or email us with your selections. We are always happy to work with you personally to get your item just right!
How are your patterns sized?
We size all of our patterns to correspond with the size you'd wear in a nice department store. So if you normally wear a size 10, we would suggest making a size 10 in our pattern. However, since every style differs slightly in fit, we would also encourage you to check the finished measurements (located on the back cover of the pattern), to ensure that your finished garment fits correctly.
Can I use your patterns to make garments, aprons, or accessories to sell?
We're so sorry, but we do not allow anyone to use our patterns in order to make items to sell for profit. If you would like to give items you've sewn from our patterns as gifts in small quantities, that's fine. We offer a selection of fun tutorials on our blog - if you would like to use them to sell items for profit, we welcome you to do so! (But please mention that you found the pattern on our blog, www.mariemadelinestudio.typepad.com. Thank you!)
Do you sell fabric wholesale?
No. If you are interested in purchasing a large piece or pieces of one fabric (15 yards or more), please contact us. We may be able to offer a discount to other businesses.
Do you sell your patterns wholesale?
Yes! Please contact us for wholesale information. If you have an account with United Notions, you may also purchase some of our patterns through them.
