We are SO over-the-top excited to show you our new pattern!!!  The darison tiered skirts pattern is at the printer now and should be shipping out in the next two weeks.  But as usual, we will be offering a pre-order option (and we'll give you free shipping on the pattern when it gets here!).

Here is our sweet little friend Darison modeling view B of the darison skirt (named in her honor, of course!).  The third tier of this view was made using patched pieces of fabric from Jennifer Paganelli's Happy Land collection!

And here is our Eleanor modeling view A of the new pattern!  Special thanks to our dear friends, the Pearlstein family, for these lovely photos!

View A is knee length, with two tiers and a baby ruffle accent.  It's perfect for everyday — just add some leggings for a fun play skirt!

We love how the darison skirts pair so perfectly with the amelia peasant top.

Here is view C — the maxi length version!  This skirt packs a LOT of twirl power.

Darison (love her to pieces) couldn't decide which view was her favorite.  And we thought that was a really good thing!

Dear Sweet Abiah,

Nineteen years ago today at exactly 9:29 am, I was welcoming my fourth daughter into my arms!  An 8 lb. 4 oz. strawberry blonde, born on my own mother's 51st birthday.  You were a blessing to me that day and you've continued to be a blessing to me each day of the last nineteen years.  What a loving and gracious God I serve to mercifully allow me to be your mother.  I am humbled.

I love you dearly, Abiah.

xoxo Mommy

Happy birthday, Budsie!  We just don't know what we'd do without you.  You officially completed the five of us girls, and we are so thankful for you.  We love your smile and your special ways with people.  We love all the fun we have together.  Sometimes it's hard for the rest of us to believe you're all grown up, because you will always be our baby (like it or not).  We're so excited to see what the Lord has in store for your life!

Love always,

Apphia, Achaia, & Abigail

A very late Happy Mother’s Day.

Mommy with her mommy – both of them the best and both of them all ours!

We hope you don't think we actually forgot about Mother's Day.  Because we didn't.  As a matter of fact, Sunday was a very good day.  Mom got flowers (two dozen red roses, to be exact) and cards and cake and everything.  But somehow the blog post in our minds never quite made it to the computer screen.  Better late than never, so here we are with our belated Happy Mother's Day post!

Happy Mother's Day, Mommy!  We are so thankful for you.  It's the best thing in the world to have a mother who is also your very best friend.  Thank you for loving us unconditionally, for always believing in us, and for never thinking our dreams are too big.  Thank you for teaching us to serve the Lord and each other, and for drying our eyes when the tears fall (as they often do).  You are the sunshine in our sky and the wind in our sails.  We love you so much!!!

xoxo,

Apphia, Achaia, Abigail, & Abiah

P.S. We'd like to add another big thanks to Nan, too.  Because it just so happens that Mom is a lot like Nan, and Nan is a lot like perfect.  We're so thankful for our special grandmother!  xoxo
